Brewers Bats on Fire in Win Over Raiders

The Maple City Brewers continued their strong season as they defeated the Petrolia Raiders 10-1. Brock Henderson, Denny Toth, and Joel Smith put on a batting clinic for the Brewers in their lopsided win.

Joel Smith started the game off right for the Brewers hitting a lead off single, stealing second, and then being driven in by Denny Toth. After that, there was no looking back for the Brewers. Smith finished the afternoon 2-for-3 with with 2 runs and an RBI.

Outfielder Brock Henderson also went 2-for-3 for the Maple City Brewers scoring 2 runs and adding an RBI.

Denny Toth not only played a strong game at the plate going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI’s, but he also pitched a complete game gem allowing only 5 hits and one earned run against.
