Chatham Ballhawks U16 Surprise Competition at Provincial Cup
This Saturday the 16U Girls Chatham Ballhawks Blue team travelled to Niagara College to compete for the Provincial Cup in the Championship West division. Going into the tournament the Ballhawks were ranked 10th out of the 12 teams. At the end of the day we lost to the eventual champions Durham Impact and finished 5th. The team was led by the defence of Michaela Hanley, the offence of Maddie Hiltz and the precision serving of Michelle Truong.

Chatham Ballhawks lost to Stratford Stingers 24-26, 19-25
Chatham Ballhawks beat Forest City Blue (london) 25-17, 23-25, 15-9
Because of a 3 way split the Ballhawks finished the pool play in third.
Playoffs
Ballhawks beat South County Bandits in the pre-quarters (Essex) 25-22, 25-21
Ballhawks lost in the quarters to Georgetown Impact 21-25, 18-25
Ballhawks beat Forest City Blue (London) in the placement match 25-21, 25-22
This coming Saturday the U16 Ballhawks team will be playing in Chatham at CKSS in an age division higher, 17U tournament, in order to challenge themselves.
