Minor Midget Cyclones Advance To Round Two
Chatham-Kent went 3-0-1 in their opening round, six point series, including a 7-1 route of Windsor Tuesday evening.
Ross Krieger paced the Cyclones with the first and last goals of the game, and sits tied for the Alliance playoff scoring lead with 5 goals and 3 assists, for 8 points in 4 games.
Brad Maxin, Jarret Marks, Brady Pataki, Kyle Fife, and Ryan Greenway also scored for the Cyclones in Tuesday’s deciding game.
Goalie Joseph Raaymakers, who is considered one of the country’s top goaltending prospects in his age group, made 19 saves in Tuesday’s win, and finished the opening round with a sparkling 1.22 GAA, and 0.951 save percentage.
Chatham-Kent now awaits their second round opponent.
