The UCC Lady Lancers and the CKSS Golden Hawks

Hello everyone, first of all I must apologize for the lack of material on the sports side but I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things when the school semester begins again. For now I thought I would do a look back to when I was just getting my photographer’s legs.

This was a game in which the UCC Lady Lancers were taking on the CKSS Golden Hawks in the very first Rugby game I ever attended. As I recall it was a fair weather day and the winds were calm the game went off without a hitch and both teams were in a dead heat throughout the event. By the time the game was over the Hawks emerged victorious but I do remember that the lancers put forth a solid effort throughout.

My favourite moment was when the teams got into a Ruckpile in a dive for the ball you can always picture the game like you were watching it on CBC  when you watch it live in person.
