Maroons Happy With Camp
The Chatham Maroons were happy with their main camp this past weekend, and will now begin cutting players in preparation for their Maroon and White game on Sunday, and the beginning of the exhibition season.
“It was a great camp with a lot of young talent,” said Chatham Maroons head coach Mark Davis of the camp. “We have a lot of guys back this year, but doesn’t mean that their jobs cant be taken.”
Chatham’s Maroon and White game will be this Sunday at 7pm, and coach Davis is encouraging fans to come and watch.
Chatham will then play their first official exhibition game Wednesday, August 27 in Sarnia at 7pm.
The Maroons will kick off their 2014-2015 regular season on the road against St. Thomas on September 12, before hosting Leamington for a Western Conference finals rematch on September 14 at Memorial Arena at 7pm.
