Below are Allison Boulanger’s answers to CKSN’s Five Questions:
1. What is your career sports highlight/top memory?
My highlight would be this past summer with both lacrosse teams. The girls team graduated many of our founding players at the end of the season, so it was a last chance for them to get gold. We won a tournament, zones, and went undefeated in provincials until the championship game. The next few days were boys provincials, where we won gold, which had added value after losing Teddy (Devin Tedford), who was an important part of our team.
2. Who is your favourite professional sports team and athlete?
My favourite sports team is the Montreal Canadiens. My favourite athlete is P.K Subban.
3. If you could achieve one thing/goal in sports, what would it be?
My biggest goal for the future is to win an OUA gold medal.
4. Who has been your biggest sports influence and why?
My biggest influence would have to be my dad. He’s coached me my whole life in all kinds of different sports. He always pushed me to be aggressive, and has really shaped my physical style of play.
5. What do you love most about playing sports?
What I love most about sports is the challenge of it. It’s nice to only have to worry about one task, winning, and knowing that all my teammates are working hard toward the same goal.
