The University of Windsor Lancers men’s hockey team announced their 2015-2015 recruiting class this week, with two former Chatham Maroons among the group.

Brennan Feasey, and Eric Palazollo were part of the nine players announced by the Windsor Lancers.

Feasey played parts of three seasons with the Chatham Maroons since 2010, including this past season when he captured the GOJHL scoring title with 41 goals and 49 assists, totalling 90 points in only 48 games.

“Brennan is a highly skilled forward who brings a dynamic offensive game to our line-up next season,” said Lancers head coach Kevin Hamlin in a school release. “We are excited to see how his game can develop even further in the OUA.”

Palazzolo, who is from Windsor, played for the Chatham Maroons from 2011 to 2013 before being traded to the Elmira Sugar Kings where he went on to help his team reach the Sutherland Cup. Palazzolo scored a point per game this season with Elmira totalling 45 points in 45 games.

“We are really excited to have another skilled forward like Eric committed to our program for next year,” said Hamlin in the release. “He brings size and scoring ability up front and will be another core piece of our program for years to come.”

Last season, the Windsor Lancers also had Tilbury native Blake Blondeel, and Blenheim’s Kyle Hope on their roster.

In 2014-2015 Windsor finished first overall in the OUA regular season with a 22-4-1 record, winning Ontario bronze and reaching the CIS National tournament.
