A swim camp for children in grades six to eight is coming to Wallaceburg’s Sydenham Pool from April 5 to June 2.
Organizer of the Sydenham Swim Camp, Nancy Schinkelshoek says children will swim twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15-5:15pm. The camp will cost $75, with a t-shirt included,
All children must be able to swim the length of the pool comfortably without the aid of a flotation device.
“The goal of the Sydenham Swim Camp is to get as many kids active and in the water,” said Schinkelshoek in a media release. “We hope to improve their confidence in the water and to improve their stroke technique as well.”
