Maroons Hosting Annual Operation Cover Up Night

The Chatham Maroons and the Chatham-Kent Salvation Army is teaming up this Sunday, November 11 when the Maroons are playing the St. Marys Lincolns for their annual Operation Cover Up coat drive.

“We’re looking for the community’s help in collecting as many winter coats for men, women, and children to help us keep everyone warm this year,” said Captain Karen Holland of the Salvation Army.

“Especially for the children and men’s plus sizes,” said Captain Holland. “Those seem to be the ones that we don’t get as many of.”

The Maroons are once again asking their fans to bring their gently used winter coats to the game Sunday night.

Individuals bringing a winter coat will receive a ticket on a chance to win an autographed TJ Brodie , Calgary Flames cap and a chance to play Beat the Goalie.
