WNBA Preseason Approaching For Carleton
Bridget Carleton will begin her journey to become a regular in the WNBA in just over a week when the Connecticut Sun open their WNBA preseason.
Carleton, who was selected in the second round, 21st overall by the Connecticut Sun in this year’s WNBA Draft, recently finished her NCAA career winning the Cheryl Miller Award, recognizing the NCAA’s top small forward, and being named Big 12 Player of the Year, along with several All-American accolades while competing for Iowa State.
The Sun will open their WNBA preseason at the Mohegan Sun preseason tournament against the New York Liberty, Monday, May 13 at 7pm, followed by a game against the Dallas Wings on Tuesday, May 14 at 7pm.
Carleton stepped on the court for the first time with Connecticut last Thursday for practices and training.
Good luck Bridget – you can do it.
