The Blenheim Bees rookie baseball team took a bronze medal this past weekend at a tournament in Thorold.

Blenheim opened with a 10-5 win over Waterdown. Cameron Hall was player of the game.

Facing a tough Pelham team next, Blenheim fell 8-1, with Bennett Campbell earning player of the game honours.

Next up was a 20-2 win over the host Thorold, with Jack Vandergriendt being named player of the game after going 2-for-3, and driving in 3 runs.

Cameron Hall hit back to back home runs, and went 4-for-4 in a 24-9 thumping of Uxbridge, which Blenheim followed up with a 22-16 win over Corunna to round out pool play. Corson Burk was named player of the game.

Facing Pelham again in the semi-finals, the Bees couldn’t hold off their opponents, falling 19-6 to take the bronze.
