The Amherstburg Admirals came into Blenheim tied with the Blades. With the win they are now in sole possession of third place. The Blades on the other hand are in a four team log jam with Essex, Dresden and Wheatley for fifth.

On a night where Blenheim seamed to be fighting the puck, the game was scoreless after one period. Just two minutes into the second period, last Sunday’s star Seth Henderson put the Blades into the lead while on a power play. The Admirals would reply with a pair of goals to go into the locker room, up by one. Amherstburg would score early in the third and then again before the midway mark. Blades Ben Barnard scored his career first junior goal at the 18:54 mark. Blenheim pulled their goaltender in the last minute of play but was unable to add to their score.

Veteran goaltender Chris Dewulf had a strong game making 43 saves on 47 shots.
