Saturday’s game against St. Thomas saw the Crush down 3-0 early in the 2nd period. CK was able to battle back and put together a late game push, but ended up on the wrong end of a 3-2 score. CK’s first goal was scored by Alex Maryschak with the 2nd coming from Abbey Tape assisted by Alex Maryschak. Amber Parent was steady between the pipes and suffered her first defeat her last 6 starts.
On Sunday, the Chatham-Kent Crush was again running a short bench, but were able to secure a 2-2 tie. Goal scorers were Lindsay St. Germain and Morgyn Woudenburg, with assists from Karys VanDeWiele, Adriana Pezzutti (2), and Hudson DeNure. Libby Barnard was in net for the Crush.
