Wallaceburg and Walpole Island are filled with young lacrosse players who dream of one day playing professionally in front of thousands of fans in the NLL.

For Jordan Durston, he’s living that dream.

The 26-year-old Durston recently finished his 5th season playing professional lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).

This season, he had 18 points in 10 games playing for the New England Black Wolves. He’s also played for the Buffalo Bandits, and Vancouver Stealth.

In total, Durston has 90 goals and 211 points in the NLL in only 81 games.

Durston has also represented Team Iroquois on the International stage, and has played Major Series Lacrosse for the Six Nations Chiefs.

The local, who played for the Wallaceburg Red Devils and Six Nations Arrows in Junior, also works with Leave Your Mark Lacrosse teaching the game to youth.
