Former Maroon Power Headed To Junior A In Manitoba
Former Chatham Maroons forward Zach Power, who has lived up to his name with the London Nationals this season, is headed West to Manitoba.
Power was acquired by the Steinbach Pistons at the Manitoba Junior A Hockey League deadline.
“Zach is a very talented offensive player who sees the ice extremely well and also has the ability to finish,” Pistons Head Coach and GM Paul Dyck said.
“With his addition it gives us added flexibility and options with what we do with our line combinations. He is another guy that has played a lot of Junior hockey and will bring veteran leadership.”
Power was signed to play Junior A last season in the CCHL with the Navan Grads prior to the season being cancelled due to COVID-19.
This season with the London Nations he was posted 50 points in only 22 games.
Power spent two seasons with the Maroons between 2018 and 2020.
