Wallaceburg U11 Girls return home tournament champions

The Black Goose Restaurant Wallaceburg U11 Girls are 2023 BAD Blazers Winter Tournament Champions!

The Lakers battled through a tough bracket, only losing to the top-ranked St. Thomas Panthers.

The Lakers regrouped in the playoff and faced the Panthers in the final. The girls came out flying with a 1-0 lead but the Panthers answered back. However, remaining determined, the Lakers scored to make it 2-1.

Following a tough battle in the third, including a late penalty kill, the Lakers claimed the championship!

Well done, Lakers! Great job representing Wallaceburg and Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association.
