Jake Lindley saw the need to grow the grassroots of basketball in Chatham-Kent and also give those who are excelling in basketball a venue to increase their skills.

Introducing the KENT BASKETBALL ACADEMY (KBA).

The KBA will offer a unique opportunity for basketball players who are looking at developing their skills in a safe and highly competitive environment.

There is a strong interest in the Competitive and High-Performance divisions.

In the past, players would have to travel to Toronto for this type of basketball. With the opportunity now in Chatham, the programs for Competitive basketball are almost full for kids in Grades 7-8 and Grades 9-12.

Lindley is also running a grassroots program that will work with kids in Grades 4-6.

KBA staff include Bob Barwick and Megan Leroux, as well as guest coaches Blake Handsor, Jana Kucera and Logan Kucera.
