Lauren Nicholson Commits To Ryerson

Dresden’s Lauren Nicholson will play OUA hockey next season, after committing to the Ryerson University Rams women’s hockey team.

Nicholson is the leading Chatham Outlaws Midget ‘AA’ team this season, averaging well over a point per game. In 53 games this season with the Outlaws, Nicholson has 45 goals and 79 points. She also compiled 74 penalty minutes in that time, while serving as Chatham’s assistant captain.

The 5’10” forward, who plays a physical game has also helped the UCC Lancers girls hockey team reach OFSAA the past two seasons.

Nicholson will join former Chatham Outlaws and UCC goalie Sydney Authier at Ryerson.

The Ryerson Rams currently sit at the bottom of the OUA standings this season with a 2-11-0-1 record.
