Brochu Wins OHL’s Dinty Moore Trophy

Tilbury’s Brett Brochu has been awarded the OHL’s F.W. Dinty Moore Trophy, as the OHL Rookie Goaltender with the lower GAA.

Brochu’s 2.40 GAA is the lowest since Alex Nedeljkovic recorded a 2.28 GAA in 2012-2013 and Michal Neuvirth recorded a 2.32 in 2006-2007. Both goaltenders went on to play in the NHL.

Brochu has starred this season for the OHL’s London Knights, winning back to back OHL Goaltender of the Month awards in January and February.
