Chatham, ON – The Chatham Maroons hit double digits in the scoring column for the second game in a row, this time destroying the Wheatfiled Blades 12-3 in a conference crossover game.

Leading the charge for the Maroons were Alex Morgan and Brennan Feasey who both netted hat tricks. Mike Rivard and Devon Roeszler both added two goals, while Sean Myers scored a goal and chipped in with 3 assists. Blake Blondeel also scored for the Chatham Maroons.

Wheatfield sits at the basement of the Golden Horseshoe Conference of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Chatham, who has won three games in a row, now sits only 1-point behind Sarnia, although Leamington is also closing the game sitting 1-point behind Sarnia. With the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League schedule in its final quarter, each game is vital for playoff positioning.

Chatham is back on the ice tonight against the St. Marys Lincolns. Game time is 7:00pm at Memorial Arena in Chatham.
