Chatham Volleyball Players Named OCAA All-Stars

Chatham-Kent is known as a volleyball town. Compared to any other sport, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent producesJordan McTavish of Chatham, who plays for Fanshawe College was named an OCAA Volleyball All-Star - Chatham-Kent Sports Network more top quality OCAA, CIS, and NCAA volleyball players, than almost every other sport combined. This trend continued as two Chatham volleyball players were honoured for their successes in the OCAA.

Former CKSS Golden Hawks volleyball player, Jordan McTavish, a 4th year libero with Fanshawe College, was honoured February 24 in Markham as an Ontario College Athletics Association West First Team All-Star.

McTavish was a part of a strong Fanshawe Falcons Men’s Volleyball team this season that also features former John McGregor Secondary School graduate Sam Youlton.

Jennifer Reaume, also a Chatham-Kent Secondary School graduate, was named a OCAA West Second Team All-Star in Women’s Vollyball as a member of St. Clair College.
