Chatham Skating Club Wins Ten Medals in Windsor, See Photos
The Chatham Skating Club walked away with 10 medals this past weekend, March 12-13, as many skaters attended the Pat Abela/Lyle McPhedran Memorial Invitational Competition in Windsor.
In WO Pre-Preliminary ‘A’ Ltd., many of our skaters took to the ice. Gold Medals were obtained by Brooke MacLeod and Gabrielle Gooch, in their respective flights. Bronze Medals went to Chloe Stallaert and Sydney Hart during their flights. Fourth place finish went to Emma McGrail and Rihana Kukkadi. Emily Zimmer walked away with 5th place, while Sophie Luckhurst was 6th and Rebecca O’Phee was 8th place, all in their respective flights. While at WO Pre-Preliminary ‘A’ Ltd. Men, Nicholas Robinson, landed the Silver Medal.
At the WO Pre-Preliminary ‘B’ Ltd. event, Amanda Couture was 6th place. In the men’s event of the same, Joshua Andari, took home the Silver Medal.
During WO Preliminary ‘A’ Ltd., Hayley Luckhurst was given the Silver Medal, while Mackenzie Faubert was 4th place and Taylor Kewley was 7th during their flights.
In WO Preliminary ‘B’ Ltd., Brianna LaChance was on the podium with her Bronze Medal.
At the Starskate Preliminary Men event, Benjamin Alexander landed the Silver Medal.
During Starskate Bronze Interpretive, Madelyn Alexander placed 5th. She also competed in Starskate Senior Bronze, where she placed 9th.
A Gold Medal was taken home by Ryley Goodhand, who competed in Starskate Gold Interpretive.
