CKSS, JMSS Competing in OFSAA Girls Volleyball
The Chatham-Kent Secondary School and John McGregor Secondary School Senior Girls Vollyeball teams are currently competing in OFSAA volleyball.
CKSS is competing in Pelham, in the Niagara Region. In there early matches, CKSS the seventh ranked team in the province heading into the tournament, defeated Anderson Collegiate & Vocational Institute in 3 games, 25-14, 30-32, and 15-4. The Golden Hawks Girls also beat Martin Grove Collegiate Institute in 2 games, 25-21 and 25-10, before losing to Assumption 22-25, 25-23, and 7-15. CKSS will advance to the first elimination round tomorrow.
Top ranked John McGregor Secondary School cruised through the pool play of the AA OFSAA Championships in Ottawa. The JMSS Panthers crushed De La Salle, L’Escale, St. Paul, and Don Bosco, each in 2 games.
John McGregor will advance to the playoff round as the top seed, and unbeaten.
