TJ Brodie Ranked 69th in Hockey News' Future Watch
Dresden boy TJ Brodie, who is currently playing for the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League, was listed as the NHL’s 69th best prospect froma across the globe by the Hockey News.
Brodie, was a 2008 draft pick of the Calgary Flames, 114th overall. After making the Calgary Flames out of training camp following a strong pre-season, Brodie was sent to the AHL to work on his overall game.
In the Hockey News’ annual Future Watch edition, Brodie was listed as Calgary’s 2nd best prospect behind Swedish First Rounder Tim Erixon. Although Brodie still has holes in his game, the Hockey News stated, “The potential is there for the Flames to have that much-needed puck moving defenseman.”
