Two Chatham Skaters off to Provincials
Chatham, ON – The Chatham Skating Club is sending two of its qualifying skaters to the 2011 Trillium Starskate Provincial Championships this weekend, March 11-13, in Mississauga.
Steven Sinclair, who walked away with the Gold Medal at the Boston Pizza Western Ontario Starskate Championships in
Fort Erie 2 weeks ago, will compete on Sunday in Senior Silver Men. Sinclair is an 18 year old, UCC student, who has landed his way to provincials 7 previous times. He has completed his Gold Skills, Gold Interpretive and Gold Freeskate elements.
Olivia Stallaert, who achieved the Bronze Medal, out of 25 skaters, during the Starskate Championships, will compete on Saturday in Pre-Juvenile Ladies. Stallaert is an 11 year old Monsignor Uyen Catholic School student.

This will be her 3rd time attending the Provincial Championships. Stallaert will be testing her Juvenile Freeskate at the end of this month. She is also working on completing her Senior Silver Dances and Skills.
