Green, Deneau Shine at High School Football All-Star Weekend

Clark Green 
Two local football players participated in an All-Star High School Football extravaganza Sunday at Mc Master University. Clark Green, a Chatham-Kent Secondary School student kicked for the Golden Horseshoe All-Star team, while UCC student Jordan Deneau played for the Ontario Rising Stars in the day’s undercard game.
 
Clark Green was a member of the Golden Horseshoe Tiger-Cat All-stars who defeated the GTA Greater Toronto Argos 11-7. Clark Green kicked a 22 yard field goal, a convert and a rouge for 5 points on the day. The game was played in extremely windy conditions causing trouble for kickers from both teams.
 
Jordan Deneau started for the Rising Stars Squad who lost to the Quebec All-stars 17-0. Deneau collected 2 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles and quarterback hurry.
Both players are also members of the Chatham-Kent Cougars organization and will be playing for the club this coming summer.
