KCSSAA Soccer Season Kicks Off With Three Matches

KCSSAA Chatham-Kent SoccerChatham-Kent, ON – The high school soccer season kicked off with three games on the schedule Tuesday April 5. On the boys side, Pain Court defeated Chatham Christian 3-1, while Lambton-Kent (Dresden) knocked off Tilbury by a score of 3-2.

In a wind impacted game, Brandon Funk, Jordan Aspers, and Ric Coomber scored for the Pain Court Patriotes, while Nic Hoekstra scored the lone goal for Chatham Christian. Game stars were Luc Brisson for Pain Court and Hoekstra for the Chatham Christian Flames.

For the Lambton-Kent Cardinals, Josh Clements, Jessie Craig, and James Shelton scored. In the losing effort for Tilbury, Lance Lansue and Jake Huiting scored. Adam Duquette was named the game star from the Tilbury Titans.

The Girls KCSSAA soccer season also got underway with Lambton-Kent and Tilbury playing. Score was unavailable.
