Peewee Chatham Outlaws Capture Silver at Provincials

After placing second in their pool play and advancing to the Ontario Women’s Hockey final, the Chatham Peewee Outlaws came home with a silver medal losing 3-0 to the Sudbury Lady Wolves in the championship game.

In round robin action, the Chatham Outlaws beat the Clarington Flames 1-0 and the Ancaster Avalanche 3-1, before tying the London Devilettes 1-1.

After beating the Guelph Thunder 2-1 in the quarter final, the Outlaws continued their undefeated OWHA tournament defeating the Cambridge Roadrunners 2-0. Then, in the final, after playing a stellar tournament, the Chatham Outlaws Peewee ‘A’ team were downed by the Sudbury Lady Wolves 3-0. Chatham’s silver medal is a huge accomplishment for this young team.
