Pollock Has Goal, Assist in Overtime Loss With the Minnesota Swarm
Port Lambton’s Sean Pollock, who grew up playing minor lacrosse in Wallaceburg scored and added an assist Saturday night for the Minnesota Swarm as they lost 16-15 in overtime to the Washington Stealth.
Early in the game, Pollock opened the scoring on the powerplay assisted by Kevin Ross and Callum Crawford. The goal was Pollock’s 6th of the NLL season.
Then in the 4th, Pollock assisted on a Kevin Ross goal. Ross had 5 points in the game.
The Swarm led until with 20-seconds remaining in the game Washington tied it up. Washington wasted little time in the extra period scoring 30-seconds into overtime to end the game.
Pollock now has 6 goals and 17 assists in 14 games this season for 23 points. With two games left in the regular season, his Minnesota Swarm have already clinched a playoff berth sitting 3rd in the West Conference.
