Road Warriors Fail to Live Up to Name, Lose in Wheeling
It was a tough game in Wheeling as the Greenville Road Warriors, including Dresden’s Wes Cunningham, failed to live up to their name losing on the road in Wheeling 3-2. The loss puts Greenville down 2 games to 1 in the best of seven series.
In the game, Cunningham continued to anchor the Road Warriors powerplay notching an assist on Chris Clackson’s second period goal with the man advantage.
The winner of this series will likely advance to play Kalamazoo as they took a 3 games to none lead over Reading with a 5-4 win Wednesday night.
Game 4 of Greenville’s ECHL Eastern Conference Kelly Cup series takes place Friday, again in Wheeling.
