Wallaceburg Red Devils Home Opener This Saturday

The Wallaceburg Red Devils home opener is this Saturday April 30 with the game getting underway at 7:00pm against Six Nations. Wallaceburg won their season opener 17-12 against the Hamilton Bengals this past week, and will look to build on that opening game success Saturday at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.

According to Wallaceburg Red Devils Head Coach Justin Durston, the home opener will be an exciting game to watch as the Six Nations Rebels are expected to be one of the top team’s in the league,

“It’s a good win for us starting the season on the road, it will build up our players confidence heading into our home opener against Six Nations,” said Durston following their win in Hamilton, “I expect Six Nations to be our toughest opponent during the regular season, they will be our measuring stick for the season as they are usually amongst the top in the season standings. I know we have a well rounded team so this will be an exciting game to watch.”

Admission to the game is free for all minor athletes wearing their team logo. As well, a group of local high school students will be selling tickets to the game to fundraise for the Wallaceburg prom.
