For the second time this season, Wallaceburg Tartans star Jonah Pataki put his team on his shoulders and headed for the endzone. Earlier this season, Pataki scored 4 touchdowns in a win over the CKSS Golden Hawks; Friday, Pataki one upped himself by scoring 5 touchdowns against the Blenheim Bobcats.

The Wallaceburg District Secondary School Tartans went on to win the game 43-29 to clinch first in the KCSSAA junior football league with only one regular season game remaining. Wallaceburg final game of the season comes against the John McGregor Panthers, who they’ll also face in the Kent Semi-Final.

Apart from Pataki’s 307 yard, 5 touchdown performance, Kevin Kellet scored the lone other Wallaceburg touchdown on a pass from Tartans quarterback Brayden Fischer.

Blenheim’s touchdowns came from Dalton Shuian and Alex Gardiner who each scored twice in the game. Blenehim quarterback Ben Bartlett ran in a two point conversion, and kicked 3 extra points for the Blenheim Bobcats.
