Second Period Slump Sinks Intermediate Wallaceburg Griffins
The Wallaceburg Intermediate Griffins suffered a 6-3 loss Tuesday night in Wallaceburg at the hands of the London Blue Devils Intermediate team.
After exiting the first period tied 1-1, the Griffins slipped into a second period funk allowing London to score five goals while only answering back with a single goal to make it 6-2. In the third period, Wallaceburg regained their composure scoring again, however their comeback would run out of time with London taking the game 6-3.
Drew Folk, MacKenzie Turner, and Colin Harvey scored for the Wallaceburg Griffins in the game, while Graeme Folk played a strong game in net.
