UCC Lancers Win Boys Soccer Title

UCC Lancers capped an undefeated season with a 2-0 victory over the CKSS Golden Hawks to capture the Kent Championship. UCC had only one tie this season ni Kent soccer action.

Tied 0-0 at halftime, the Lancers stormed out onto the field in the second half with goals by Ronnie Stevens and Mitch Hakker. Although the put out a strong effort, the CKSS boys couldn’t slip one by UCC goaltender Scott Pollard.

In the Kent ‘AA’ SWOSSAA soccer challenge game between the Wallaceburg Tartans and John McGregor Panthers soccer teams, WDSS came out on top with a narrow 1-0 win. Josh Stokes collected the shutout for the WDSS Tartans, while game star Spencer Huebach had the lone Wallaceburg goal.

Thursday the girls Kent soccer final will take place between the ESPC Patriotes and CKSS Golden Hawks at 4pm in Chatham.
