Wallaceburg Karate Tournament One Week Away
The May 7 Karate tournament at Tiger Paw Martial Arts in Wallaceburg is now expecting more than 100 competitors from across Southwestern Ontario. As well, the tournament will feature a newly announced special guest, Dr. Steve Stewart, who is Canada’s highest ranking black belt in the IMMAF.
Stewart’s martial arts portfolio is prestigious including, 1st Dan: Shito Kai, 2nd Degree: Modern Arnis, 2nd Degree : Tae Kwon Do ITF Style, 8th Degree: American Kenpo (Highest Ranked in Canada), 8th Degree: Kyusho-Jitsu (Highest Ranked in Canada), Canadian Representative: DKI, WKKA Demonstration Team (1996-2001), Certified Instructor of Small Circle Ju-jitsu, and WKKA International Director 1995-2002.
The tournament which will benefit and raise awareness for the Chatham Kent Sexual Assault Crisis Centre will also up.
As an added challenge to competitors, Tiger Paw Martial Arts is offering two unique patches for any competitor who collects at $25 sponsor and breaks two pieces of 1″ pine board.
