Kent Havoc Go Undefeated in Weekend Rugby
The Kent Havoc Senior Mens and Womens teams were in action Saturday picking up a win and a tie. The Havoc Men defeated Hamilton II 24-5 to improve to 5-0-1 on the season. While the Havoc Women, still early in their inagural season, picked up their first tie of the season, a 15-15 draw against Wilmott.
In the women’s game, Caroline Howell, Jaleesa Russell, and Jenny Russell had the tries for the Kent Havoc, in what was a closely fought and entertaining game.
The undefeated Kent Havoc men continued their winning ways defeating Hamilton II in convincing fashion. Craig Arnel put in a dominant performance scoring two tries. Matt Sutherland and Dave Buis had the other tries for the Kent Havoc men, while Jared Foster kicked two conversions for the Havoc.
On July 9, the Kent Havoc Men look to continue their winning ways when they welcome Highland II to the Chatham-Kent Athletic Complex at 3pm, while the women travel to Norfolk.
Way to go Havoc!!! This has got to be the fastest growing sport in the area…very entertaining!
