Kent Havoc Lose, Tie in Busy Weekend of Rugby
After falling behind 10-0 in the first half of their weekend game against the Kitchener Knaves, the Kent Havoc Men battled back to pull off a 10-10 tie and remain undefeated in season play improving their record to 3-0-1 on the season.
Jared Foster scored in the 29th minute of the second half, followed by Dave Buis, who scored a try in the final minute of play in the second half of the Kent Havoc’s comeback.
In the senior women’s game against the Bruce Banshees, Bruce came out victorious winning 27-5. Bruce dominated in scrums and linouts throughout the game, and utilized strong backs to score each of their tries.
Jalessa Russell scored the lone Kent Havoc try in the game, however in the second half, the Havoc were able to keep the game much closer containing the Bruce attack. After only 2 regular season games, the Havoc Senior women are still developing and will look to continue their progression next Saturday when the team travels to Wilmot for their first road game of the season.
