Major Rugby Announcement Expected for Chatham

The Kent Havoc Rugby Football Club have announced they will be holding a press conference Friday, June 24 at the Civic Centre Atrium in Chatham.

At the press conference, the Kent Havoc are expected to announce their biggest ever rugby event in Chatham-Kent bringing in an “International Rugby Fixture.”

In past years, the Kent Havoc have hosted other international rugby matches in Chatham-Kent, first with the Canada Selects facing the England Counties, and most recently in 2009 when Canada A took on the Argentina Jaguars at the Tek Savvy Kent Cup.

Although both events brought huge crowds to the Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex at CKSS, their latest announcement scheduled for 11:30am Friday at the Civic Centre, is expected to eclipse both of these events.
