Bantam Chatham Coyotes Win Provincial Championship

The Chatham Coyotes Bantam division competed in the Ontario Minor Ball Hockey Association Provincial Tournament in Mississauga this past weekend where the Chatham Coyotes were crowned Provincial Bantam B Champions. 

Here are the tournament results:

Friday July 8th:  Chatham Coyotes vs Beeton – Chatham won 7-2.  Goal scorers:  Tristen Padbury (2), Kyle Parry (2), Curtis Lemieux, Nick Zimmer, Drew Medd.  Assists by Tristen Padbury, Curtis Lemieux, Nick Zimmer, Keegan Pittuck, Bowe Shepley (2), Brad Hockin

Saturday July 9th:  Chatham Coyotes vs West Hill – Chatham won 4-0.  Goal Scorers:  Tristen Padbury (2), Nick Zimmer, Brad Hockin.  Assists by Macks Holmes (3), Curtis Lemieux and Kyle Parry.  Shut out by Brandon Zuidema.

Saturday July 9th  Chatham Coyotes vs Quinte – Chatham Lost 5-0.

Saturday July 9th – Chatham Coyotes vs Withrow Park – Chatham Lost 2-0.

Sunday July 10th Semi Final game – Chatham Coyotes vs Kitchener – Chatham won 7-3.  Goal Scorers: Drew Medd (2), Bowe Shepley (2), Nick Zimmer, Justin Pratt, Macks Holmes.  Assists by Curtis Lemieux (2), Tristen Padbury (2), Blake Padbury, Bowe Shepley, Chad Schnekenburger, Macks Holmes, Keegan Pittuck and Nick Zimmer.

Sunday July 10th Finals – Chatham Coyotes vs North York.  Chatham won 7-5.  Goal Scorers: Curtis Lemieux (2), Tristen Padbury (2), Drew Medd, Macks Holmes and Brad Hockin.  Assists by Kyle Parry (2), Nick Zimmer (2), Bowe Shepley (2), Macks Holmes (2) Tristen Padbury, Chad Schnekenburger.  Outstanding goalie performance by Brandon Zuidema.
