Busy Summer for the Wallaceburg Lakers

After naming a new coaching staff and management this summer, led by new head coach BJ Charpentier and general manager Paul Grealis, the Wallaceburg Lakers are preparing to get back to business.

Recently, the Lakers also appointed three new directors, Chris Janssens, Shane Pollock, Lindsay Jacques and Mike Gyuricza, to complete their board of directors for the 2011-2012 season.

At Wallaceburg’s upcoming WAMBO celebrations, the Lakers will be on the streets selling dicounted preseason passes, as well as beef on a bun, pop, and water as a fundraiser for the team.

Wallaceburg will be holding their annual training camp during the last full weekend of August. The Main Camp will be held August 27 and August 28 at Mooretown Arena.

Capping off their summer festivities, the Wallaceburg Lakers will be holding their annual golf tournament September 11 at Baldoon Golf Course in Wallaceburg. More details, including how you can get tickets to this event will follow shortly.
