Kent Havoc Host Men's Rugby Final Saturday
It’s been a dream season for the Kent Havoc men’s rugby team, culminating with their Niagara Rugby Union Championship game Saturday at 3pm in Chatham.
Hosted at the Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex, the Havoc men, who finished the season in first with an 8-1-1 record, will face the second place Burlington Centaurs.
In the regular season, the Havoc split their games with the Burlington Centaurs, including a dominating 54-7 win early, but suffered their only loss of the season to Burlington 25-24 in late July.
Since the Kent Havoc entered the Niagara Rugby Union in 2006, they have not played in a championship game, something that is about to change Saturday. Admission to the game is free for all spectators.
