Pointstreak Captures New Market With Signing of National Basketball League of Canada

NBL of CanadaToronto, Ontario – Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. and the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL) have announced they have reached a long-term agreement in which Pointstreak will provide real-time scoring, official statistics and league wide website services to the NBL and its 7 member teams.

Poinstreak, which is run by Chatham-Kent natives Scott Secord (CEO) and Paul Pettipiece (VP of Baseball Operations), is a leading provider for many professional and amateur hockey, baseball, soccer and lacrosse league’s acrosse North America, and now with the addition of the NBL of Canada, the technology company is venturing into basketball.

Levingston says that Pointstreak will play a crucial role in bringing the NBL Canada to an elite sports status. Through the use of the latest technological trends, Pointstreak will build and support the official NBL Canada website, as well as the sites for the seven teams.

Poinstreak will also provide NBL Canada with an optimal real-time statistic tracking system. “I’m really impressed with the Pointstreak Sports Stats Software,” says Levingston. “We’re really excited to have this cutting edge technology attached to our league.”
