High School Sports in Chatham-Kent Just Around the Corner

For kids all across Chatham-Kent, the dreaded words “back to school” are about to happen, but for high school athletes, that means it’s game on.

The season doesn’t take long to get underway with school resuming Tuesday, September 6, and the first senior football games taking place Friday, September 9 with Blenheim facing UCC and John McGregor taking on CKSS.

Other sports kicking off during the month of September including golf, cross country, boy’s volleyball, girls basketball, and tennis.

The Kent Golf Championships take place September 19 in Blenheim. As well, the annual Red Feather celebrations which welcome a variety of events are scheduled for September 23-25.

It’s back to class, and back to the courts and fields for high school athletes across Chatham-Kent.
