JMSS Girls Basketball Team Crowned Champions in Hunstville

The JMSS Senior girls basketball team played a tournament at OLYMPIA SPORTS CAMP this past weekend in Huntsville, Ontario

The John McGregor Panthers won all three games and brought home the Division 1 Championship plaque. Bridget Carelton, a grade 9 playing on the senior team, was instrumental in the win as one of John McGregor’s top scorers in each game.

Game 1: 42- 33 over Markham – Top Scorer: Devyn Demars 9pts, Bridget Carleton 7 pts

Game 2: 48-14 over Renfrew – Top Scorer: Bridget Carleton 12 pts, Brooke Gibson 8 pts

Game 3: 40-11 over Keswick – Top Scorer: Bridget Carleton 14 pts
