The Kent Atom AE TekSavvy Cobras participated in the 2011 Randy Brunett Memorial Tournament in LaSalle October 6-9, 2011, bringing home the tournament title.

On Friday the TekSavvy Cobras played LaSalle with the Kent Atom AE TekSavvy Cobras winning 3-0.

Scoring for the TekSavvy Cobras were Avery Chauvin, Tyler Unsworth and Cameron Duquette. Assists went to Tyler Unsworth, Isaac Greenway, Evan Rae, Parker Koole and Patrick Wilcox. Darian Steele earned the shutout for the Cobras. Player of the Game was awarded to Avery Chauvin.

TekSavvy Atom AE Cobras Win!

On Saturday, the Kent AE TekSavvy Cobras had three games starting with a 6-0 win over Amherstburg.

Tyler Unsworth lead the scoring for the TekSavvy Cobras with two goals, while Ethan Denure, Patrick Wilcox, Sam Haight and Avery Chauvin each got one. Helpers came from Devyn Doucet (2), Avery Chauvin (2), Evan Rae, Cameron Duquette, Parker Koole, Evan Munroe, Ethan Denure, Isaac Greenway and Tyler Unsworth. Cole Pomajba earned the shutout for the Cobras. Player of the Game was awarded to Tyler Unsworth.

In their second game of the day, the Kent Atom AE Tek Savvy Cobras notched another shutout, this time a 2-0 win over Belle River.

The two goals for the Tek Savvy Cobras were by Evan Munroe and Tyler Unsworth with assists by Avery Chauvin, Ryan Kelly & Patrick Wilcox. Darian Steele earned the shutout for the Cobras and was awarded Player of the Game as well.

In a much closer match the Kent Atom AE Tek Savvy Cobras edged Windsor 3-2. Scoring for the Cobras were Tyler Unsworth, Parker Koole and Avery Chauvin, with assists by Patrick Wilcox, Cameron Duquette and Tyler Unsworth. Cole Pomajba earned the win for the TekSavvy Cobras. Player of the Game was awarded to Avery Chauvin.

The Kent Atom AE Tek Savvy Cobras entered the Championship Game on Sunday morning with a 4-0 record for the tournament, facing Belle River, a team they had previously defeated 2-0.

In the end, the Kent Atom AE Tek Savvy Cobras came away with a 4-1 win over Belle River and a tournament title.

Tyler Unsworth lead the scoring for the TekSavvy Cobras in the Championship game with two goals and Andrew Park and Sam Haight each added one goal. Assists went to Avery Chauvin, Evan Munroe, Ethan Denure and Devyn Doucet. Darian Steele earned the win for the Cobras and was awarded Player of the Game as well.
