Dane Fox Has 5-Point Week With the London Knights

Thamesville’s Dane Fox picked up five points last week as his London Knights won three games in Ontario Hockey League play. The Knights are 11-2 on the season and are ranked first in the Canadian Hockey League.

On October 19, Dane had a goal in a 6-3 win over Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors.  Two nights later, he had another goal and two assists in a 4-0 shutout of the Belleville Bulls.  On October 23, Dane scored a goal as the Knights beat the Windsor Spitfires, 6-3.

Dane’s teammate, Seth Griffith, had an assist against Mississauga and a goal each in the Belleville and Windsor wins.

Chatham’s Chelsey Heinhuis, a senior defenceman with the Union College, scored the winning overtime goal as her Dutchwomen beat Syracuse University, 4-3, on October 21.  Chelsey also picked up an assist in a 5-3 loss to Syracuse the next day.

Chatham’s Ryan Jones of the Edmonton Oilers scored his second goal within a week on October 20 when he scored in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Dresden’s T.J. Brodie scored his first goal on October 21 when his Abbotsford Heat had a 2-1 shootout win over the Milwaukee
Admirals.

And, Dresden’s Wes Cunningham scored his first goal of the season on October 22 as his Greenville Road Warriors beat the Gwinnett Gladiators, 4-2, in ECHL play.
