Former Wallaceburg Lakers Player Named GOJHL Offensive Player of the Month

Brendon Merritt, who played for the Wallaceburg Lakers last season, was named the September GOJHL Western Conference Offensive Player of the Month as a member of the Lambton Shores Predators.

“We are very proud of Brendon and he deserves this honour,” said Roop Chanderdat, President and GM of the Lambton Shores Predators. “Leading the league in points is a great achievement and something that Brendon could not have done without the help of his teammates and coaching staff.”

Merritt sits atop the GOJHL in scoring with 7 goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 9 games.

Merritt was a clutch scorer for the Wallaceburg Lakers last season in the playoffs scoring multiple overtime winners, while compiling 11 points in 11 games.
