St. Clair Spirit Blowing Into Wallaceburg Sunday

The St. Clair Spirit will roll into Wallaceburg Sunday October 16 for their only two home games of the season in Wallaceburg. The Spirit, a U-19 Field Lacrosse team feature several Wallaceburg Red Devils on their roster, as well as six player from Michigan and others from across Southwestern Ontario.

The Spirit will play the London Mustangs, a team featuring former Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse player Zach Herreweyers at 10:10am, followed by the Kitchener-Waterloo United at 2:00pm.

Both games will take place at Steinoff Park in Wallaceburg, where a BBQ and other activities will also take place throughout the day.

This season, the St. Clair Spirit sit with a record of 2-4-2 and are lead by a group of Wallaceburg products including Jordan Durston, Dillon Lapointe, and Nathan Carrol.

Durston leads all players in scoring with 10 goals and 10 assists in only 8 games. Lapointe and Carrol sit only 1-point back from Durston in the same number of games. Lapointe currently leads the St. Clair Spirit with 15 goals.
