Blenheim Golden Eagles Gymnastics Hosting Provincial Qualifier

The Blenheim-Kent Golden Eagles Gymnastics Club is hosting a Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Provincial Qualifier meet, January 14-15, 2012 at the Blenheim District High School gymnasium, 163 Chatham St. South, Blenheim. The meet will attract more than 200 provincial level gymnasts from across Ontario, including over 80 from the London-Windsor-Sarnia triangle, and their families. This represents more than 500 visitors to Blenheim and Chatham-Kent.

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics includes vault, beam, uneven bars and floor routines. The gymnasts range in age from 9 to 25 and will compete at a variety of difficulty levels from level 5 to level 9. The public is invited to view the competitions from the bleachers in the Blenheim gym.

Gymnasts and their families will stay in local hotels, eat in local restaurants, shop and enjoy entertainment in the Chatham-Kent area. Local businesses are invited to sponsor the meet at a variety of price and recognition levels.
