Herreweyers Named to Team Canada U-19 Field Lacrosse Roster

Adding another accolade to his resume, Zach Herreweyers, a Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse product was named to Team Canada’s U-19 Field Lacrosse roster.

Herreweyers will travel with Team Canada to Finland from July 12 to July 21 for the U19 World Championships. The tournament will take place in Turku, Finland, and will feature 12 teams including the USA, Finland, Australia, Iroquois Nation, Bermuda, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Wales, England, and Czech Republic.

Herreweyers was selected from a final camp held between November 24-27 in Oshawa which featured roughly 50 players from across Canada.

Herreweyers is committed to attending Loyola University where he will play NCAA Division I Field Lacrosse, and has won multiple National and Provincial lacrosse titles.
